Admissions to Reception September 2024

If your child was born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 and will be starting in Foundation Year in September 2024, your application for a place will need to be submitted to Oxfordshire County Council no later than the 15th January 2024 at OCC Primary School Admissions

If you miss this date you will go into the late round of allocations which are not made until after May 2024. Please contact Admissions at Oxfordshire County Council on 0345 2412487.

If you send anything to the council, we advise you to send it recorded delivery.

15 January 2024	Closing date for applications.
17 April 2024	National offer day: look online, receive email and letters are sent out by second class post where needed.
2 May 2024	Last date to respond to offers. Last date to be added to the continued interest list for offers made 17 April. Last date for late applications, and changes of preference.
September 2024	Start of the school year.

Allocation day

Everyone who applies online by 15 January 2024 will receive an email in April 2024 advising which school their child has been offered a place at.

Important things to remember when applying

Apply on time, i.e. no later than 15 January 2024.
It is the responsibility of parents/carers to apply for a school place.
You can list three different schools in order of preference. We strongly advise you to use all three preferences.
We advise you to enter your catchment (or designated area) school as one of your preferences.
If your application is late, it will be processed later in the year, and you are far less likely to get a place at one of your preferred schools.
If you send anything to the council, we advise you to send it recorded delivery.

31 October 2023 - closing date for applications.
