New Curriculum - Copied from previous site

Our planning reflects the key objectives, skills, content and challenge of the National Curriculum.  We teach our broad and balanced curriculum in an engaging, interesting and stimulating way, incorporating a skills-based curriculum with a set of skills that children acquire within each year group.  The skills based approach ensures that the children make progress with their learning as they move through the school.  We teach skills in a cross-curricular way based on a topic and linked to text (where appropriate), enabling children to embed learning through being motivated and making links between subjects and skills.

The curriculum is taught with the consideration of the needs of all learners and inspires children to nurture a passion for learning.
